As I have previously reported, I was approached several weeks ago by an international group not located within the borders of the continental US. to initiate a book review division.  The offer was rescinded when one of their collegiate contributors objected.  I was not given an exact reason, but I suspect it was because I don’t have a doctorate in letters.  Someone with a PhD in literature got a knot in his or her underwear.

The original proposal was to set-up a paid book review division.  Apparently, they had numerous authors with books needing to be reviewed, but no reviewers.  The Author’s Club had established authors who might be interested in making a little money when they were suffering from writer’s block.

I don’t have the exact payment schedule, but it was substantial, definitely worth the time and effort to sit down and read.  But, as reported, the offer was…
